We Provide the Most Comprehensive Dermal Filler Training
The dermal filler training workshop is a full one-day course. The focus of the certification course is strictly on dermal fillers.

Like other Aesthetic Institute workshops, this is a comprehensive, hands-on training program using live patient models with training under the direct supervision of some of the best board-certified aesthetic physician instructors (plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and multi-specialty trained aesthetic specialists) practicing in the U.S. By receiving the highest-level training on FDA-approved HA and non-HA fillers from leading manufacturers that produce dermal fillers, participants will gain proficiency necessary to pass the onsite testing and earn a certification.

The dermal filler market continues to grow every year and is two times greater than botulinum toxin sales worldwide. Because over 94% of the soft dermal filler market consists of hyaluronic acid products (HA), adding these safe, simple-to-perform injection procedures can benefit any health-care professional and their practice. With over 20 years of experience in dermal filler training, you can be assured that our Comprehensive Dermal Filler workshops at The Aesthetic Institute will give you everything you are looking for in a certification workshop.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES
Upon successful completion of the Comprehensive Dermal Filler Workshop, each participant should be able to understand and accomplish the following:

  • Practice and perform procedures such as dermal filler injections competently, safely, and effectively for their patients. Each participant will learn how to avoid risks and associated complications with these treatments
  • Apply generally accepted protocols for the administration of HA dermal fillers for various aesthetic conditions. Each participant will learn the proper guidelines for product acquisition, patient charting, and administration issues (medical intake forms, informed consents, etc.). They will also learn corrective measures for adverse events.
  • Assess who is a candidate for the dermal filler procedure. They will understand how the procedure benefits their patients and which anatomical areas are acceptable for treatment. Attendees who complete the program will know how to educate their patients about how dermal filler treatment can meet their aesthetic expectations.
  • Identify the mechanism of action, basic facial anatomy, and areas of injection. They'll learn the characteristics and difference between the various products. They'll also learn how to understand patient preferences, manage patient expectations, and perform aftercare for follow-up after the dermal filler procedure.

  • Understand the available anesthesia options and be able to administer the facial nerve blocks and perform techniques required for correcting or softening such aesthetic conditions as facial lipoatrophy (checks), pre-jowl sulcus, lips, chin, folds, and eye hollow.
  • Display enhanced injection skills and techniques, through hands-on training using cannulas as well as needle syringes. Participants will review and identify the need to offer touch-ups and set client expectations.
  • Review various administrative issues, patient consultations, marketing aspects, and pricing and packaging necessary to successfully integrate these procedures, including all medical intake forms and informed patient consents.
